The Eagle Ford Shale rig count remained at 202 active drilling rigs this week. The gas rig count fell from 110 rigs drilling to 109, while the oil rig count rose to 92 active rigs from the previous week's count of 91. One rig is drilling an injection well.  Horizontal rigs account for 182 of the 202 rigs drilling in the South Texas region. Drilling activity should continue to climb over the coming months as operators commit more rigs to the play. The Eagle Ford Shale rig count rose from 201 active drilling rigs last week to 202 this week. The gas rig count dropped from 114 rigs drilling to 110, while the oil rig count jumped from 85 to 91 active rigs. One rig is drilling an injection well.  Horizontal rigs account for 181 of the 202 rigs drilling in the South Texas region. Drilling activity should continue to climb over the coming months as operators commit more rigs to the play. The Eagle Ford Shale rig count this week increased from 197 active drilling rigs last week to 201 this week. The gas rig count climbed from 110 rigs drilling to 114, while the oil rig count stayed at 85 active rigs. Two rigs are drilling injection wells.  Horizontal rigs account for 179 of the 201 rigs drilling in the South Texas region. Drilling activity should continue to climb over the coming months as operators commit more rigs to the play. This week the Eagle Ford Shale rig count rose from 181 in the prior week's count to 197 active drilling rigs. The gas rig count remained at 110 rigs drilling, while the oil rig count increased from 70 to 85 active rigs. Two rigs are drilling injection wells.  Horizontal rigs account for 177 of the 197 rigs drilling in the South Texas region. Drilling activity should continue to climb over the coming months as operators commit more rigs to the play. This week the Eagle Ford Shale rig count is down to 189 active drilling rigs from the prior week's count of 193. The gas rig count fell from 115 to 110 rigs drilling, while the oil rig count is 70 down from 78 active rigs. One rig is drilling an injection well.  Horizontal rigs account for 164 of the 189 rigs drilling in the South Texas region. Atascosa County was down 4 rigs for the week, but we assume these are likely moving within the county and will be back to work soon. Drilling activity should continue to climb as operators finalize JV agreements and begin putting capital to work.
